What are push notifications? The notifications that you get on your phone and computer. For example, when you get a text you are alerted with a push notification.
Push notifications are a crucial part of The PreMed App. Enabling these notifications will ensure that you stay on track with your goals. You have the option to get push notifications for the following:
You will be asked if you want to receive notifications when you download the app. You will see something like this:
If you don’t remember seeing this pop-up or you pressed “Don’t Allow” initially, that’s okay! You can go into your phone’s “Settings” and turn on the app’s notifications. See below:
As seen above, you have the option to hide the MCAT QOD from showing on your home screen. For example, let’s say you just took the MCAT and it’s the last thing you want to think about. If this is the case, you can easily go into your Settings and hide this feature.
Within your Settings you also have the option to rate and share the app with your friends and family. We would greatly appreciate if you took a minute to rate the app within the App Store or Google Play Store. These ratings help get the word out about The PreMed App to help more premeds around the country. The more users we have, the more we will be able to improve the app and provide the features you are wanting to see.
